Autumn/Winter 2010 Trends

Autumn/Winter 2010 showcases tones such as nude and khaki to rich earthy tones including deep red, tan and taupe.  Fabrics range from ever popular glossy patents to warm suedes and distressed leathers, with forms ranging from rounded oval shaped toes to shortened and square toe styles. 

The newest styles include over-the-knee boots, hardware decorated boots and zip ruffle embellishments.

Flats:  This season the classic ballet flat is updated with embellishments such as zip ruffles, studs, bows and chains. 

Heels:  Ranging from court shoes to towering party shoes, heels are featuring pleats, ruffles and exotic skins, as well as a variety of heel shapes and constructions. 

Ankle Boots:  Ankle boots are featuring bows, buttons and ruffles, on a variety of heel constructions ranging from comfortable rubber soles to wedged heels and Cuban-style heels to stilettos. 

Boots:  From mid-calf to knee high and thigh high, boots are back with a vengeance this season.  Thigh high boots are the newest trend, with styles ranging from stocking-like to loose ruched  legs.
